an individual who inspires me is Audrey Hepburn, best known for her role in "Breakfast at Tiffany's." Behind her pretty looks and her movie star career, many people aren't aware that Audrey Hepburn was a great humanitarian that had important role in UNICEF, The United Nations Children's Fund. Her acts of generosity and kindness demonstrated that a big name in Hollywood could be more than just a pretty face. Many people do not know that Audrey Hepburn was a goodwill ambassador of UNICEF. After her film career, she dedicated the rest of her life to helping impoverished children in the poorest nations. She called Turkey "the loveliest example" of UNICEF's capabilities. She explained how the army lend them their trucks, fishmongers allowed them their wagons for vaccines, and it only took about 10 days whole country. Audrey continued with her work and she toured Central America in February 1989. Hepburn continued to travel to places with UNICEF such as Bangladesh, Vietnam and Somalia which was four month before her death. Audrey described Somalia as "walking into a nightmare." She described she has seen famine in Ethiopia and Bangladesh but she had never seen nothing as bad as how Somalia was. There were graves just about everywhere, although seeing this had scared Audrey she still had hope. Audrey Hepburn’s life has inspired me in many ways, because instead of being a typical Hollywood figure, vain and focusing on herself only, she took a route less travelled for people in her position, something most film and fashion icons never did in that
