Recommended: Solution to the problem of global warming

Thesis Statement:

Instead of focusing on the greenhouse gases that are being put into the atmosphere with the cars we drive, we should very much be trying to conserve the all of the access energy that we are using with all our new forms of technology. This includes the over use of computers and cell phones. Those which are aimed at making our lives easier and more convenient are using vast amounts of resources.

Audience Consideration:

This essay is for my peers. I think that is it time for us to take a look at the things that are considered socially acceptable when it comes to environmentalism and the things that aren’t so widely accepted and really establish what the problem is. Why is it ok to complain about air conditioners harming the environment but no look at the fact that all the energy that we are conversing is going to places such as overconsumption of resources for laptops and smart cars and cell phones. My essay will primarily be a persuasive with certain arguments thrown in to give my overall point.

My main examples (body paragraphs) How socially acceptable it is to have changing stations almost everywhere we go for cell phones and laptops. Secondly, how all the energy that we believe we are “conserving” is actually being used to power what we consider necessities? My final point will be how fundamentally different the world looks as oppose to how it did in years past even though now we have endlessly funded programs that are aimed at helping and conserving the environment and its resources.
