Is Space Exploration Worth the Money? Space is a vast and expanding place, and whether people explore it is their decision. Nowadays, people are wondering if spending money to explore space is worth it. They believe the money should be spent on more useful things, such as the army, education, and so on. Space is a marvelous place that consists of many places and objects for people to discover. The choice is up to the citizens and the government. NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), the United States space agency, has done so much to further technology and improve the lives of people. The program has supplied many jobs, making a better life possible for some. It also gives people the opportunity to explore a career in the subjects they love. NASA also offers great educational programs. Astronauts sometimes talk to students while they are aboard a space shuttle in Earth's orbit. Space exploration is also very popular in culture. Many movies are about space and exploring it. A famous movie is Interstellar which came out late 2014. There have been more movies and books released in the past. This is how space exploration has helped humanity in other ways besides exploring space. Many people wonder if space exploration is worth the huge cost. While it is expensive, funding space exploration has lead to many great achievements and discoveries. People do not believe that using the money for space exploration is good. Space programs have done so much good for the world and can continue doing these acts of kindness if people keep funding space exploration.
