Fox canceled RUDELY to our beloved Brooklyn Nine-Nine, an unlikely hero who has plummeted to save the show. Yes, you read correctly: Brooklyn Nine-Nine officially * not canceled * as of now, and moved to a new home: NBC.

These past few days we've lost a lot of really incredible TV shows for the big cemetery of television shows in heaven, but none of them hurt as much as Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The show was one of the best ensemble comedies on television that boasted a diverse hella cast, both racially and sexually and GUESS WHAT! That 70’s show was probably one of the funniest television shows that have aired throughout the late 90’s to early 2000’s. The show no longer air new episodes however, old episodes are occasionally aired on ABC family and sometimes MTV. The cast did a great job basing the show on life in the 70’s even though it was really produced in the 90’s to early 2000’s. The characters from the show are still making headlines today for example Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are reportedly engaged and actress Lisa Robin Kelly past away due to multiple drug intoxication. It would’ve been awesome if the show comes back even if they change it to live in the 80’s or 90’s.

In America, every individual has the right to a fair trial, but how fair is the trial? When an individual is on trial, his or her life is on the line, which is decided by twelve strangers. However, who is to say that these individuals take their role seriously and are going to think critically about the case? Unfortunately, there is no way to monitor the true intentions of these individuals and what they feel or believe. In the movie, Twelve Angry Men, out of the twelve jurors’ only one was willing to make a stance against the others, even though the evidence seemed plausible against the defendant. Nevertheless, the justice system is crucial; however, it is needs be reformed.

There is so much that can be learned from the past. Especially from an event that was as catastrophic as this one. How does one person gain such a grip on so many people? How was he able to influence them to change their entire life’s to conform to what he wanted. Somehow he was able to get them to move to a completely new place and create a world all their (his) own. How does one person convince and force so many people that it was time for their life to end? How does he force them to kill themselves? So many questions that are still being answered to this day. There are plenty of movies and research done on this event but there is still a lot to learn.

The Crucible by Arthur Miller begins and ends with one-sided accusations of witchcraft. It all results from a group of girls who had been dancing in the woods. After two fall sick, the accusations begin. The girls who were dancing, especially Abigail Williams begin blaming others to look less guilty themselves. Today, I want to demonstrate that “the crucible” by Arthur Miller in 1953 is not just a play for 1953, but a play that relates to any period of time, notably to our modern society. The crucible is an allegory of 1953 McCarthyism and social chaos of the time. Today’s government manipulated the truth creates the fear of “outlawed bikies gangs” similar to 1692 theocratic government creates fear of witches and McCarthy’s communist terror. Unfortunately, the truth is never clear cut, but skewed, twisted and sculpted lies that shockingly benefit a small governing body and its ideologies. Therefore, ‘The Crucible’ is a worthwhile play to be shown in Queensland Theatre as it reminds us of an invaluable lesson and could prevent the same foolish action reoccurring on future generations. The play intertwines with significant themes such as lies, truth, power, stereotypes and mass hysteria which are pivotal dynamics in today’s society.
Jersey Shore is American reality TV show that follow the lives of eight random roommates spending their summer at the Jersey Shore. All eight members of the cast consist of young Italian “Guido’s” who drink alcohol uncontrollably, party, have sex, and fight. The show began in 2009 and since its release it has become one of the most popular TV shows, viewed by a wide variety of people. Jersey Shore is essentially a psychological experiment with the hope that bringing eight strangers together would make for an entertainment. The reason Jersey Shore became such a hit is because it is infused with romance, drama and opportunity to live through a group of people we have nothing in common with.

Chris finds his escape plan to the situation and feels he will free himself by going off to the wild. I agree with the author that Chris McCandless wasn’t a crazy person, a sociopath, or an outcast because he got along with many people very well, but he did seem somewhat incompetent, even though he survived for quite some time.
