APA (American Psychological Association) style was created in order to standardize scientific writing. In this class, I will be applying APA style to the final case study, but it can also be applied to empirical studies, literature reviews, methodological articles, research reports, term papers and theoretical articles. It is very mechanical and specific way to format writing. One must pay special attention to typeface, linepsacing, margins, and page headers. The layout consist of eight divided sections; Title Page, Abstract, Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion, Reference, and Appendices.

The first line of every paragraph should be indented one inch and the entire manuscript should be double spaced. Throughout the manuscript, a sans serif such as Times Roman is used and a sans serif font such as Aria is used for the figure labels. All pages should be numbered on the upper right hand corner.
