American History: Our Hope For the Future American history tells us that our founding fathers had hoped for future generations. They expressed this hope in words when they wrote the United States Constitution. The hope was that all men should be created equal, and should have certain freedoms. My “hope of the future” is that everyone will still have the same laws in which present day humanity must abide to. There will be only expansions to our rights, not limitations. That is my hope for the “hope for the future of America”, being successful with no limitations to our rights. Every person will have their own automobile, home, and anything they pursue as happiness. The people are entitled to the God given rights of the United States Constitution. Every man, woman, and child should never be deprived of these rights. This relates to the “hope for the future” in many ways, one in which the People decide their future not the Government or Congress. This quote by H. L. Mencken is a humorous, simple explanation of how the government works. “Democracy is the art and science of running the circus from the monkey cage.” This quote essentially means the show is run from within. My hope is that the future generations take on that responsibility also. So that “Freedom will stay free, and that “Old Glory is flown proudly above its people. I believe I can speak for an abundance of people when I say the one and only reason we are truly free is because of the veterans of the five branches of the United States Armed Forces that risked their lives to protect our rights and the flag. I don’t think I can express the amount gratitude and appreciation I have for the people who helped myself everyone like me to make our own
