Matthew Perry who is most well known as Chandler Bing on the 1990’s sitcom Friends began alcoholism before the sitcom aired and continued yet worsening with time. By season four of Friends Matthew Perry had started his prescription drug use due to a ski accident in 1997. He continued to use opioids such as vicodin and methadone and also abused amphetamines Perry stated how he doesn’t remember three seasons of Friends due to his drug and alcohol abuse.
