9/11 Explanatory Essay Have you ever heard of 9/11, or wondered what went on? To begin with, the day of 9/11 was a serious attack on the United States of America in 2001 which took out the marvelous Twin Towers while also damaging the Pentagon. On this day, the trust and will of the patriots of this country were tested by extremists. Despite the fact of an outrageous attack, the country stood strong against the power that opposed them. No matter the problem, our country rebuilt itself along the way with will, bravery, and help of others. In the following statements, I will review some of the important details on that day in which include the numerous casualties, expensive levies, and the extreme terrorists responsible for this invasion. …show more content…

As a result of this attack, over 3,000 people have been killed by the attack. But, this statistic is only a fracture of the amount that were injured by this attack. Over 6,000 people were hospitalized by this horrible attack. But, a little under 10,000 were affected, including the 6,000 hospitalized and the 3,000 victims, such as by not being able to go to work, home, etc. Although, these victims were not regular people, they had families at home. Most of the ones who died had many children. A whole 3,051 children had lost at least one parent over the course of the attack. Overall, there were plenty of different, horrible casualties on this day of 9/11 that changed many lives
