On this horrifying day people began to question what really happened and what is the government not telling us. There are many conspiracy theories that people say happened on that day like the steel not getting hot enough to melt for the towers to collapse. People say that the the planes that crashed into the building could not have caused as much widespread damage that they caused. Experts say that the steel didn't have to melt for the towers to fall (Person 1). This because the structural frame just had to be moved a little bit for the tower to fall. It is true that the steel melts at 2750 degrees fahrenheit when jet fuel only burns at 800 to 1500 degrees fahrenheit not hot enough to melt the steel just by itself. This meaning that the steel didn't melt but wouldn't have to melt for the towers to fall. The steel frames of the towers would just have to be moved just enough for the structural strength to be weekend for the tower to fall. There are a bunch of conspiracies in this world and there's a few on the tragedy that happened on September 11, 2001. One of the theories is that inside traders knew about the attacks before they happened. As said in an article, “in the days before 9/11 there was a huge increase in the number of put options purchased on their airlines, compared to the normal average daily volume.”(Davis) Before I explain what that means the article also mentioned, “ this huge increase in the volume of put options suggests that the people buying these put options knew in advance that 9/11 was about to happen.” (Davis) What the quotes are saying, is that a few days before 9/11, out of nowhere, there was an huge increase in the airlines, that were hijacked, stock markets. The conspiracy theory is that the government was aware of the attacks the entire time but because they were making profit, this did nothing about it.

9/11 was a horrific incident. There are no words that can possibly describe how deeply it affected the America that my generation has come to know. This atrocity hurt the economy and made us into an intolerant country; however, this same atrocity also opened our nations eyes. It showed us how vulnerable we were, and as a result our countries security, and the concern for safety of its citizens has grown. While it is important to recognize how terrible 9/11 was, its also important to recognize how much it has helped our great nation. 9/11 and events like it are important. They show us how to better our country and though painful, these events necessary into growing our country.

9/11 was one of the United States biggest disasters. Killing nearly 3,000 people including the 19 hijackers that hijacked the planes that crashed in to the two world trade center towers. September 11, 2001, is a day that will go down in history and never be forgotten. On this day in time, Islamic terrorists attacked the World Trade Center in New York City, as well as The Pentagon building in Washington, D.C. The terrorists, who were affiliated with Al Qaeda, were led by the one and only, Osama Bin Laden. Nine days after this devastating attack on our country, President George W. Bush addressed Congress with an unplanned State of the Union address. Bush used great amounts of tragedy with a direct vital tone to deliver a very important message. Ultimately, this message would reach out to the American people as a whole, not only for remembrance of the people who lost their lives, but also as a plan of action for what would lie ahead.

When a giant explosion ripped through Alfred P. Murrah federal building April 19,1995, killing 168 and wounding hundreds, the United States of America jumped to a conclusion we would all learn to regret. We stumbled so badly on pinpointing the Middle East right off the bat on the Murrah bombing. No one wanted to get caught like that again,”(Posner 90). The day of 9/11 is a day that will be in the back of everybodys minds for lifetime. On that sorrowful day four passenger airplanes were highjacked and ultimately crashed. Two of the airplanes crashed into each of the Twin Towers located in New York City. After the buildings burned for around 20 minutes they fell to the ground bringing along millions of tons of debris that killed many workers from both towers. One of the other airplanes crashed into the Pentagon also killing many innocent people. The last airplane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania after many believe that the passengers over powered the highjackers. Many people still morn the deaths of the victims from 9/11. There were several conspiracies about the planes that attacked the Twin Towers. Another thing that seemed odd was that 9,700 gallons when it should usually have nothing less than 14,000 gallons. The engine was found on Murray Street when it should have been right around the Tower. Things were said about the plane being like a missile since the engine was dropped so far from the Towers. According to German TV footage, the planes front nozzle was caught on fire before going through the building. Conspiracy theories state that there were three things attached to the plan that were likely to explode. After the plane went into the building the plan some how exploded making it look like a missile went into the building or some how it was some sort of bomb.
