Sydney is one of the biggest Australian cities. A Majority of people move there for good salary and better quality of life. The great economy and high salary involve people all over the world, especially from New Zealand, where citizens have not conditions like these. The major theme of this essay is positive and negative impacts of migration in Sydney. This research will begin by evaluating the economic factors of Migration it will then proceed to investigate the educational factors. In the process it will be highlighted that the impacts of migration are balanced

First of all, Sydney is a great place to start a business, because the economy is dynamic and due to the high quality of people’ living. In fact, Sydney is ranked 7 out of 140 cities in the 2013 Economist Intelligence Unit's (EIU) Global Liveability Survey and number 10 out of 221 cities in the 2012 Mercer Worldwide Quality of Living Survey (Business Migration). Increasing the number of new business has influence on the city economy, the working places will expand and unemployment will go down.

In conclusion, migration to Sydney has equal positive and negative sides. It is fact that more than 40 % of city workforce are not the native citizens, while 40 % of them are from Asia.(“Sydney facts and figures”) In this reason, the overseas employees take part in growing the economy and improving different areas. Also, the negative factors like expensive cost living or high number of active companies may be harmful for one part of the city, also very useful for another.
