Marketing Research Tools
Once a decision is made to use marketing research, management goals and objectives determine the type of selection methods used. There are a wide range of market research tools and methods available to decision makers. Depending on the goals and objectives of the company, researchers have many options. Some of the research tools include mail and web surveys, personal interviews, and focus groups. This paper will discuss and differentiate among the various tools used in primary and secondary research as well as discuss the differences when using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This paper will further identify which tools are used for each approach and why. The primary purpose of marketing research tools is to assist companies in decision-making. Therefore, the view and understanding of marketing research, its tools, and its methods are adapted in business decisions.

Effective marketing is applying the right research tools at the right time for successful decision making. It is important to consider marketing research information, such as primary and secondary, as part of the marketing strategy as well as the tactical decision process. The methodology of this research project included both qualitative methods and quantitative methods. The qualitative methods were used for primarily background information and specific examples of respondents that would be considered part of the target market. The quantitative methods included a distributed survey and a collection and analysis of the results using statistical software.
The concept of virtue ethics was first developed by Aristotle in 'nichomachean ethics '. He believed that the point of ethics is to become good, and virtue ethics highlights this well. It is an agent centred idea of morality and focuses on how a person can develop virtues and what sort of person you should be, rather than how you should act in order to be good. If it is unavoidable, and irreversible, then we should become remarkably skillful at it in our interpersonal relationships. Communication also means knowing how to listen to others, while creating a judge-free environment for them to be able to open up to you. These skills require very specific ways of caring for other people, and these are skills that can be learned to do better with practice.
