It’s been a month since I moved into college, life on campus have been great for me. The living community is better than what I expected at the Governors Complex. The university has the number one dining inside the SUNY College system for four consecutive years. The living community let students feel like they are at home. Besides dorm life, we have very amazing academic programs. I am very happy with my professors, most of them try to keep the lectures interesting. But like everything else, the university have imperfections, the university stampedes are what I think is the flaw of the school. I know that the university stampede is a public transportation. Many student strictly follows the bus schedule and expect the bus would be around when they arrive on time. But the bus driver sometimes leaves before schedules, student end up missing the bus they supposed to take and be late to their class. Another issue is there are not enough bus stops at the North Campus, the school only built bus stops at resident halls, and the only exception is student union. There is no bus stop for the academic buildings, such as Natural Science Complex or Capen Hall. This is the very inconvenience for the students who live on the Ellicott. The students who live on Ellicott either have to walk for 15 minutes to get to student union or they will have to wait for the bus. Most students get off the bus at the Student Union and then they will have to walk to their academic building through the tunnels. The student would have to leave the dorm about thirty minutes before class just to get to class on time. This takes away the whole purpose of doing or the convenience of doing. Many students dorm in a resident hall just to be near the academic buildings so they don’t have to wake up that early since college life is very stressful due to school
