I stood in front of the entrance to Yoshi’s Magic Academy, the greatest magic school in the entire world located on Caesar Island, built when The Great War of the 12 Kingdoms ended.
The 12 kingdoms were Arabia, Skyle, Hrothgar, Tamriel, Leam, Matos, Orath, Kyuugan, Bygien, Yulez, Daryu, and the Fyrths.
“This is too good to be true that I, Sora Vesna, the first person to be born without any trace of magic in the world since centuries before The Great War ended.”
I sigh and glanced back up to the entrance, and headed towards the entrance of the school to attend the ceremony that was about to begin in order welcome the first years before school officially starts tomorrow.
“There is so many magic tools, almost everyone has their weapons with them.”
Sora looks down at his magic weapon, the Dyrnwyn, one of the Thirteen Treasures of the Island of Britain. If it was to be drawn, the blade would be imbued with fire if the man wielding it was worthy enough, but the wielder has to have some kind of magic within him, or it is just an ordinary, yet powerful blade.
“I am surprised my family managed to secure a sword so powerful for themselves, although i’m happy to receive such a weapon, I can’t use it to it’s full potential.”
I fell to the ground and hit my forehead on something hard and looked up to see my childhood friend Sarah Jalls, laughing uncontrollably.
“I’m s-sorry Sora, but they are must be limits at what a dolt like you can do!”
She stifles her laughter and helps me up to my feet.
“It’s not exactly my fault that they decided to put up this nearly invisible door! It’s ridiculous, but it’s good to see that you don’t seem to be a bit nervous.”
“Sora, you can’t possibly blame someone for a careless mistake you made.”
I reached down t...
... middle of paper ...
...our kindness!”
Sarah grabbed me and dragged me out of the ceremonial area.
“Are you stupid? You could’ve taken a huge icicle to the forehead if not for your skills at Muay Thai and your other various techniques!”
“Well, excuse me for being honest, I didn’t know the o’ so powerful mage had such a short temper”
“Your one to talk Sora, you have the same temper as her as well!”
I glanced over to the clock tower to check the time.
“Well, since the opening ceremony is over, we can head home and rest until school starts tomorrow. I’ll be going then Sarah, I will see you tomorrow ok?”
“Huh? Yeah sure, go ahead. I’m going to take a little tour around the campus, See Ya.”
I left the academy as Sarah started chasing after a bunny with a carrot in her right hand.
“Hmm, I guess I will head towards the beach and blow off some steam. It’s been a while since I had a swim anyways.”
H - “Yeahhhhh, well mom said she might be able to sign me up for school in fall, so I would only end up missing one year. But I would really like to see you D.B., can you come next weekend for sure?”
“Ok ok, I’m going.” I reply again I slowly drift to sleep thinking of that cute girl I saw today, I think her name is Jill…
"After you eat, go on a take a shower we are going to be out for the whole day. I got oodles of plans for today! I'm gonna go and pack some things!"
"I-I'm not afraid! Actually, I'm going to go see what it was." She turned and marched to the door, looked back with a snooty look, and walked into the room.
“Yes…and when it gets light we will pack everything up all nice and neat, like nothing happened.”
"Sorry, it's just that we're almost there and I thought that you wouldn't want to missing your grand entrance into the castle."
“Take a shower. I’ll brew some coffee, and see you when you’re ready.” Colleen said.
“Ah, right,” he says with a small chuckle, his gaze quickly moving over to his daughter. “Let’s go see mom now, mm?” Anticipating her to hop off the bench, he picks her up again before he
“Well please be careful and please stay with the rest of the group so you don 't get lost! And I hope you have a fun time there.”
In this essay, I will uncover the countless insights that can be learned about the characters in Beowulf, as well as the society as a whole, based on the weapons the characters choose to use in battle. During the Anglo-Saxon time, roughly between 400 and 1066, swords were considered the most precious weapon someone could own. Although it is not certain who wrote Beowulf, and when, many people believe it was composed in the middle to end of the Anglo-Saxon period. Analyzing the different weapons, and significance of each, in Beowulf, and comparing them to the weaponry at the time, provides the readers with a great deal of insight into the society during this period. The use of weapons in Beowulf not only provides the readers with insight into
“You certainly have powers other than your trident and I expect you to use them”
“Are you kidding me?! You’re worried about your precious throne, what about the lives of these men. They’re fighting against death every day.”
“Yeah,” I said. “We should probably get some sleep if we’re gonna get out of the city tomorrow.”
He came and sat beside me on the grass. "I noticed you're not quite bad with a sword, wanna spar with me a bit? It's better than practicing by yourself. He asked turning to look at me.
