Rawr. Agh. I was eating dinner whilst listening to the groans and shouting from the prison-house of the Lower World. It was music to my ears. I had locked up all the Titans who fought against me, I find it ridiculous that they thought they can fight against me and win, how foolish they are, I’m the most powerful god to exist. Although I did not lock up Prometheus and Epimetheus. They are my great assets, Prometheus thinks about the future and Epimetheus thinks about the past. I like having them on my side because I ask for their opinions and their opinions help me be a better ruler. “Jupiter, Prometheus wants a word with you.” “Let him in.” I said Prometheus walked in enthusiastically and said “Jupiter! Hey, how are you doing?” “Let me hear …show more content…

You know I never asked you for anything in return-” “-except your freedom” “-well I didn't ask, but, thank you, I came here to ask you to give fire to mankind. They’re cold Zeus, dying of starvation, and being hunted by wild beasts. If only you give them fire, they can survi-” “Never! Do you realize what’s at stake here? If I give them fire they will get strong, possibly strong enough to drive us out the kingdom.” “Are you kidding me?! You’re worried about your precious throne, what about the lives of these men. Not a spark I will give! Giving them fire will ruin everything! If the humans get fire, they will teach themselves how to survive and be happy. They will be so happy that my fellow gods will want to experience it themselves, they might like that life better and leave Mount Olympus, I would be alone. Guess what, Prometheus went behind my back anyways and gave the humans fire. Of course I didn’t find out until they were taught to survive, but I let them keep their fire, let them feel safe while I plan my wrath. So I started with the blacksmith Vulcan, I gave him a lump of clay to mold into a woman. “She’s beautiful. She’s perfect!” I said when he was done. I continued by giving her a pleasant voice, good manners, a kind heart, skills in many arts, and lastly, my favorite, curiosity. I called her Pandora, which means all-gifted which i how I made her. Then, I gave her life. I planned on giving her to Epimetheus, he’s foolish. I didn't give her to Prometheus because I couldn’t risk it, he is a bit smart and would see right through me. Pandora was happy in her new home, I did give her a golden box before gifting her to Epimetheus, the box was spectacular. Athena warned her not to open the box not even have a little peek. One day as I hoped, Pandora’s curiosity got the best of her. She opened the box. I was dreading for the day to come. Aaaahh! Noooo!
