The Global Aging :
Population ageing is affecting the whole world. Global population will no longer be young due to lower fertility, improved child survival and better health. Population ageing is occurring in all regions and in countries at different levels of development as the figure 1 shows .
The percentage of people who will be 65 years and older in the next years will be higher in Europe , while it will be lower in Sub- Saharan Africa .
Aging in Norway
The aging population will affect Norway the next years. The post-war baby boomers will approach retirement age to 2020, and this will affect all communities around the country. According to the Norwegian central bureau of statistics the people who are 67 and over will be between 1.1 and 1.4 million in 2050 , and it is twice as many as today . This will increase from 14 to 27 percent of the population as a whole (1).The number of people who are 80 years old and older will grow faster from 215,000 to 683,000 in 2060 (Figure 3)
LIFE EXPECTANCY MIGHT EXCEED 90 YEARS IN NORWAY

Life expectancy in Norway has been increasing for the past 200 years, and it will continue. The mortality assumptions are based on an analysis of data for the period 1950-2010. In the main alternative, life expectancy at birth is expected to increase from 79 years to 90 years for men and from 83 years in 2011 to 93 years in 2100 for women. Also, life expectancy will increase among immigrants , and their children who born in Norway .(2) pension system the pension in the National Insurance Scheme consist of basic pension earned regardless of previous income and a supplementary pension based on so-called pensionable income and the number of earned pension. More pensioners choose to live abroad according to new statistics from the Work and Welfare Administration (NAV) 5,1 percent of Norway's pensioners live abroad , while in 2009 were 4,6 percent . Almost one of three live in Sweden, both men and women , and US comes in number two on the list . The main difference in the percentage of male and female pensioners found in Thailand. Male pensioners in Thailand makes up 1.5 percent of all male pensioners living abroad, while women make up 0.1 percent. this cost Norwegian pension system 5.5 billion kroner ( $907 million)
