First I would like to welcome you to the wonderful land of America. I hope you have had fair travels from London. As I understand the situation, you are in a state of ambivalence in regards to your political affiliations; I write to you today to help you see the strength in the Federalist Party. The Federalist Party has the potential to continue aiding America in taking lengthy strides toward being a great nation. I will debrief you on the successes the Federalist Party has participated in thus far; the Federalist Papers and the Hamilton Reports.
The Federalist Papers were 85 documents co-written by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay in order to make known the importance of having a new Constitution to replace the Articles of Confederation. These three men opted to remain anonymous under the pseudonym of “Publius” but were eventually discovered to be the authors in 1792. The Federalist Papers was composed with the intention of persuading New York voters to ratify the proposed constitution. The U.S. Constitution needed approval from nine out of the thirteen states and Hamilton, Madison, and Jay went about writing the Federalist Papers in order to gently sway people in alignment with their opinions. These wise men embarked on this journey in efforts to preserve the Union and empower the federal government to act in a coherent manner. While many Agrarian folk were convinced these men were attempted to generate a tyrannical central government that would overtake states’ rights (the Anti-Federalists believe in a strong state government) and moreover infringe on the liberty of the individual, the truth of the matter is these men were merely aiming to strengthen the central government system we Federalists desire to maintain...

As you have seen, the ramifications of both the Federalist Papers and the Hamilton Reports have proved to aid in the ratification of the U.S. Constitution, amend America’s sizeable debt to a considerable degree, improve our foreign relations with trade through the increase of foreign trade, and even keep the Anti-Federalists pleased with the majority of our decisions – this is just to name a few of our accomplishments, Mr. James. The Federalist Party has done many great things for our nation America and will continue to do so. Put your trust in us, Mr. James.
