Another critical nutrient for healthy bones is magnesium, which helps peoples’ bodies absorb calcium, neutralize metabolic acids, and support a robust bone structure. A body that is growing needs the support of magnesium when it comes to treating osteoporosis. Magnesium can help with the constipating effect that calcium has, when taking it with calcium supplements (Bauer 1). Beans, sweet potatoes, beans, cashews, spinach, and brown rice give a lot of magnesium.
Many fruits and vegetables contain potassium and other nutrients that help bone health. Eating potassium helps the diminution in bone mineral density that occurs with aging, particularly among elderly women. Bananas, plums, carrots, lettuce, and tomatoes include potassium. The good amount of daily potassium is 4,700 milligrams (Medical 2013).
A healthy body requires vitamin D. Life of modern people who are living busy everyday can be the cause of osteoporosis. The time exposing into the sun is not long enough, so would not produce vitamin D. It may cause osteoporosis because of lack of vitamin D that makes strong foot bones. Therefore, thirty minutes are necessary to bathe in the sunlight a day. In fact, calcium relies on vitamin D to help it travel around the body.The people’s body can make vitamin D under the sunlight, but people’s skin needs to be protected from sunlight. The best sources are fish, including salmon, and mackerel; milk, and yogurt; mushrooms; and eggs. People need to take a supplement to be a healthy person because few foods are rich in vitamin D (Escherich, K 2009).
Vitamin K is essential for the formation of osteocalcin, a type of protein found only in the body. High intake of vitamin K has been linked to lower risk of fractures in some populations. ...

Functional exercises improve how well people move. They can help people in everyday activities and decrease chance of falling and breaking a bone. (Exercise 3).
Teenagers need to be healthy for their dreams. If the teenagers start now to avoid osteoporosis, they can make a healthy future. Health has to be the most important thing in their beautiful life. Prevention is the most important step to stop the onset of osteoporosis. Therefore, people believe that people receive a bone density screening every year from the 40's is preferred. Another point of view is physicians have to re-educate patients about their health. So, people can notice what is the most important thing in their life.
