A Persuasive Thesis Statement on Online Dating: Better or worse than traditional dating methods?
Is online dating safe? Even though online dating may or may not be the safe way to meet someone, is it the best way to find your soul mate? There are a number of pros and cons to online dating.
Online dating is the practice of searching for a romantic or sexual partner on the Internet, typically via a dedicated website. Online dating lets you seek potential partners and helps you match up with the person you are most interested in. Online dating websites can help you protect your personal information and ensure you are safe, at least while using their site. Once you meet a potential partner in person, of course they can no longer be of assistance. According to Henry Cloud, “Dating is about finding out who you are and who others are. If you show up in a masquerade outfit, neither is going to happen.” (HENRY CLOUD, How to Get a Date Worth Keeping)
Some people think online dating is not a positive experience because they want to have face to face contact. Some daters want to see potential partners in person to make sure that they are not lying about themselves... Online dating may seem lazy, and not the best way to find out if there is physical attraction with another person. It is also important to know about peoples’ backgrounds and only some websites will allow you to do that. Some people may not post photos, and you want to see them and when you see them in person it really don’t be them. Now that when I think it goes wrong. There many bad people out here who kills and because people always think its ok to lie and then when meeting comes out the truth.
