We notice nowadays the increase of migratory movements all around the world. People leave behind them all what they have and move to another place, often near from their origin places but sometimes it can be very far, in another continent for example. What are the reasons of these migrations? What consequences have they? We will answer to these questions in the following lines. We will begin by showing the reasons and after that, giving the results of this phenomenon. People move from their origin places to another place. Social and familial reasons are often their motivations. In fact, there are some countries where some people do not feel at ease. First of all, racism is still a problem in some countries. People cannot do what they really want because they are afraid. In addition of this, there is also the problem of religion. There are some countries where people are not free to pray because their religions are not accepted by the majority so they want to go somewhere where they will pray without fear. Racism and problem of religion are not the only problems. In fact, sexism is a big problem in much countries because women do not have the same right as the men. For example, in some countries girls do not go to school. This situation push some women to leave all what they have: their friends, families and go to another place where they can do whatever men do. Another particular reason is the health. Occasionally, people have to move in another place in order to have an important surgery. Migration is also due to familial reasons. Sometimes, members of a family are separate, so in order to come together again, people migrate. Besides, personal reasons can motivate to migrate. People go far from their origin places... ... middle of paper ... ...people left their countries, there is a decrease of the working population of this country which is a very bad thing for the economy of the country, however, the depart of migrant reduce the unemployment. There are also effects for the host country. The increasing of the population is the cause of a lack of housing thus we see the creation of shantytowns. There is the increase of the insecurity because sometimes when people migrate, they do not always have what they expected: job, housing and else so they begin to thief or do other bad things in order survive. There is also a good point, the fact that people come to the country is a good publicity for this one and the migrants bring a lot with them. To sum up, I can say that a lot of people migrate for several reasons and this migration has a lot of consequences on the country left and on the host country.
