Love is a powerful force, capable of causing people to express the highest levels of happiness, pleasure, depression, and despair. It is an emotion that is perceived and expressed in countless different ways. There are many well known ways of perceiving it, such as love at first sight. The movie Pride and Prejudice portrays love in many different ways but the two that most stand out are love at first sight and the one that I feel is more important is that love can make even people who at one time seemed to despise each other fall in love with each other. There are minor portrays of love in the movie such love conquers all such as how the families' status in society is seen as a negative by the high class people. Another minor portrayal is when one of the sisters falls in love with a soldier and only wanted money, so love is seen as blind in that case. The fact of the matter remains that the representation of love at first sight and hate to love are the strongest shown in the film.

...from hate to love in very prominent in this film, though the perception that engulf the other is love conquers all, this perception it the one I feel truly stands out, love is so powerful that enemies become lovers.
The movie Pride and Prejudice with is variety of expressions of love is a powerful film to study. The way that the perception that love conquers all is a tree in this movie and hate to love, love at first sight, and blind love are some of its many branches really shows how diverse this film is. Love is a powerful in the sense that it is capable of many things, but in this movie its summed up pretty simply love makes Jane and Elizabeth be with the ones that truly love them. Love felt like a force that corrects wrongs in this film, a force that opened eyes and hearts, a force that brought back a lover, and a force that created a union through marriage.
