Did you know that the very first x-ray done was of Roentgens wife’s hand, complete with her wedding ring in 1894? His wife was less than impressed and declared “I have seen my death!!” Some people think that x-rays are harmful and can ruin DNA. But the x-ray has truly hade a long and useful history. In my opinion the x-ray is the world’s greatest invention ever. It impacts are everyday life. It also makes society a better place!
To begin with. the x-ray has a long history, it is 121 years old! Back then when something was wrong they would try to “bleed” it out of you. Or use some bazar way to get rid of it. Which is not good and can cause more or worse pain to not even truly even help you in the long run. But now we have different kinds

Roentgen was working in his lab one day in 1895 and decided to send a high electrical current through a cathode ray filled with special gas. He realized that a dim green colored light was being produced, and decided to hold the cathode ray just above his wife’s hand.
