Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27th, 1756 in Salzburg, Austria. Wolfgang was one of seven children in the Mozart household. His father was Leopold Mozart and his mother Anna Maria Mozart. At age 11 Wolfgang was already a child prodigy and getting ready to spend the next three years on the road performing for dukes and barons, lords & ladies, and emperors and empresses, and kings & queens. His first trio composed was called Minuet and Trio in G major, he accomplished this at 5 years old. His first song was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, he did this at age three. After his marriage Mozart began to get very cocky despite the financial crisis that he was caught up in. He continued composing pieces but the musical board in Vienna was very judgmental of his work and despised his youthful flaunt greatly. He wrote operas for days and many wanted to listen to them but no one wanted to watch him conduct his pieces. Therefore causing his popularity to decrease, starting around 1788. Roughly 11 years after his popularity discontinued, Mozart fell ill with a case of Severe Miliary Fever. He died on December 5th, 1791, age 35. Even though many people found his attitude and manner to be horrific and rude, everyone in the musical world lived to hear, even play, his many works.
