Most people today know and admire the beauty of William Shakespeare’s work and how much he has affected our English literature. More than any other author in English, Shakespeare has been able to create variety of characters, dramas, plays, to life. From writing 38 plays and 154 sonnets, he has written a variety well known pieces such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Sonnet 116, and Hamlet. Each masterpiece he has created just had marked the reality of them. He individualizes his creations through patterns of speech and thought. The characters that he has generated, present a wide range of conflicts and emotions that exceeded their origins. As most know all of Shakespeare’s sonnets (Shakespearean sonnet)incorporate 14 lines; because of this the 14 lines are broken down into groups of four, threes times and then two. Including with an iambic beat throughout: 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 4, 5, 6, 5, 6, 7, 7. Moreover, the words he uses such as “love” uncovers a lot in one of his plays, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” As shown in my inforgraphic, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” has lots of specific numbers that show its importance in the play.

Based on Shakespeare’s work it has shown through many centuries that there is something unique and special about his work and how it remarkably stills marks its words today. In this inforgraphic, you can see the words frequently used in his plays and how they all have their own meaning to the play. Even how many times the characters appear in the play show their significance throughout. For example the four lovers appear in the play for about 98% of the time because the play is based off the romantic and comedic Demetrius, Lysander, Hermia, and Helena. In addition to this, the inforgraphic above shows some basic numerical facts about his life, such as how many siblings he has and when he died.
