Whether we like it or not, the world is beginning to become overrun with technology. Even the simplest things, like sinks and hand dryers in bathrooms are adapting to this growth in technology, the impact of technology even reaches all the way into our learning environment. Sure, technology might have some very good upsides to it but that doesn't change the fact that it creates distraction, takes away learning time, and can provide opportunities for students to cheat. It's crazy to think how huge of an impact technology really has on us, not only outside of school but inside as well. We can't allow technology to steer the path of our youth in the wrong direction so, we need to get rid of it as soon as possible to help our youth grow and learn in an more effective learning manner …show more content…

As we all know there are unlimited of websites to visit on the web, even though schools put up specific barriers to stop students from visiting such webs students always find a way around it. A company called Cengage Learning created a survey asking students what distracts them the most in the classroom, the results were shocking. 25% of the students said searching something up, 45% said games, 59% said social media, and 60% said texting.When you have a tool as useful as a smartphone in your hand, many of us would be tempted to have a peek at sports scores or how much likes we’ve got on our latest Instagram posts. And of course, students are not immune to these temptations, which is why we have to help our students get rid of technology to help strengthen the education
