People should not have control over others because power corrupts and leads to the abuse of power. Ones in control tend to be degraded by power, and in their degenerate states, they use it to harm others. Some might say control allows people to relieve their burdens onto those in power, but it also puts them at the mercy of potentially corrupted leaders. For example, Smaug, the dragon tyrant, had dominance over the lands around him. He protected the area, but when the adventurers invaded, he unleashed his ire onto those in his domain, killing and injuring many.
