Open lunch or off campus lunch is a large controversial topic among high schools and other schooling systems. What are some of the benefits of having an open lunch, some reasons why school lunches are not very good, how open lunch can help the school save money and the community gain money, and why some people think school lunches should be closed because students can not be trusted. Schools need to have open lunches because school lunches are not filling enough and students can be trusted. There are many benefits of open lunch here are a few. One of the many benefits of open lunch is that students can take a break from school. Students will have the opportunity to take a break from school and spend some time relaxing at home (Gazette). The benefit of this is that students will be refocused and ready for school. If you let students have a change midday they will come back refreshed and ready for the other half of the day (Reverman).
