There is a lot of sports that we play and watch in this world. Some sports are watched more in certain parts of the world than in others. Football/Basketball are the popular ones in America, Canada Its hockey, Europe and South America Its soccer. Now all of these are great sports and personally I enjoy them all, However there is one sport in America that is consider to be one of the more popular “sports” in America and that is NASCAR. Which is not only the most ridiculous excuse for a sport I have ever seen. It honestly shouldn’t ever exist on our plane of existence. Nearly nothing to very little about it actually qualifies it as a sport and that isn’t the only reason why it should not exist there is many more like the fact it was created illegally, wastes money and energy, and is a bad influence on kids.
The biggest reason why NASCAR shouldn’t exist is for the reason that it was created for bootleggers to escape the cops during the time of prohibition. A sport is something that requires someone to have a special set of skills to do what they are doing within the said sport and also a sport requires some form of physical excellence in said athlete NASCAR simply does not have this no matter what type of shape you are in you can drive a car. NASCAR drivers are not really special either due to the fact that nearly everybody in this world can drive a car. NASCAR is taking a basic everyday thing and putting a competitive feel to it which simply does not work if it did anything and everything could be a sport.
