Being chosen by my teachers and peers to be a member in the National Honor Society would be a great honor for me. I hope to prove myself to be a good example for those who need help. I feel that being a member would greatly benefit my character and scholastic abilities. After graduating high school, I plan on joining the Air Force and then attend a four year university. I would like to go into business and one day become a pharmaceutical representative. I will need to be able to be a leader and help out my peers when needed. The skills and confidence I could attain from NHS would prove to be very beneficial in the years to follow. The main reason I want to be apart of NHS is because education is something I take very seriously. As a student …show more content…
I want to be a valuable member of Esko High School, and by joining the National Honor Society, I believe that I can further my skills, and further shape my character. This organization does great things in society and I can be apart of it. When joining I can develop important leadership skills. I am involved in many extracurricular activities and in some I hold important roles such as on the soccer team. I was chosen to be a captain by my teammates. While taking the role as being captain on the soccer team I have to lead my teammates and set good examples for everyone. This role takes a lot of responsibility and patience. I try to make everything run as smoothly as possible while keeping everyone satisfied. It’s important to me that I am a good leader and role model to my teammates. I want them to trust me and be able to come to me for anything. Joining NHS would help me be a better role model and expand my character. I strive to serve as a leader and I enjoy helping others. There is not a single activity that I participate in that I do not give one hundred percent. By putting a focus on my own school and community, I can see the effects of helping others. By helping out I can directly see the impact that my deeds can have towards shaping my environment. Myself and the other NHS members will have the opportunity to see the lasting consequences of our actions as …show more content…

The four pillars of the prestigious National Honor Society demonstrate the traits I hope to continually develop: as a scholar, a leader, a volunteer and a person of strong moral fiber. I believe myself to be mature and motivated; I have an unyielding commitment to scholarship and intend to make a difference in the lives of everyone around me. The prospect of becoming a member has prompted me to take a look upon what I wish to accomplish as a part of this organization. By becoming an active participant, my goal is to enrich my school experience by means of volunteering in the community, serving as a role model for my peers, and fostering pride for our school.
I am writing to inform you of my possible contributions to the National Honor Society and my interest in becoming a member. I view myself as a strong minded individual with a strong incentive to learn. Acquiring the ability to learn fast and adapt quickly has enabled me to be a part of a wide range of organizations. My participation and loyalty to the NHS could result in a great strive forward. I could provide more ideas of services to benefit the school and our community. I would also devote a large portion of my free time to the organization and assist in any way possible. Whether that means coming in early in the morning or staying late after school, I would do any means necessary to show my commitment.
I feel that the importance of service is to help a person in need because you could change someone's life, not because you feel that you need to. People who love what they are doing are the people who effect everything around them.Service has impacted my life because it makes me a better person. My family feels the impact, the community feels the impact, even servicing for a few hours a week affects the people around you. It makes the community a better place to live.
I am honored to be among the students who are being considered for the National Honor Society. I must admit that this is a group that I have been anticipating joining since the beginning of my high school career. I believe that I deserve this honor and this chance because I have worked very hard to get here. The National Honor Society is known for recognizing students with grades and praiseworthy character, I believe that I have both. My grades are a priority at school because when it comes down to it that is what I will be judged on, alongside my character and attitude. As a student athlete, I pride myself on being a good role model, not just in my home and school, but also in my community. I have participated in many activities that served
I think the sense of maturity I have developed throughout my life has given me the determination to be the best person I can be. That being said, I would love to be inducted into the National Honor Society and not only represent our school, but represent our generation to the community, not as a “selfie” generation, but as a generation, with great potential. Growing up, my parents never expected perfection, but expected that I would try to accomplish my best. The effort I’ve put forth in learning has been reflected in my grades throughout my high school career. I’ve entered myself in vigorous course work such as AP Government and AP English to become well prepared for my college career, all while maintaining a 4.4 grade point average this year.
I am profoundly honored to be among the exceptional people who are being noticed for the National Honor Society. Being considered to join the National Honor Society is an honor in itself. It proves to me that I have accomplished my goals and worked to the best of my ability. In all my years as a student I have always tried to do the my best to get the highest grades. I do not just focus on my academics, I also strive to be a benefit to Stevenson High School. Achieving my goal in becoming a member of the National Honor Society would give me a great sense of honor and joy both academically and personally. As a human being I have aspiration and academic excellence to offer to the National Honors Society. I would be thrilled to join The
In conclusion, character, leadership, scholar, and service are all characteristics upon which I hold. Being considered to join NHS with my classmates is a huge honor and I will put forth hard work into keeping up my grades as well as helping in my community. I hope to gain as much knowledge as I can from NHS and be a role model for anyone in the upcoming grades, who wish to be in NHS. Thank
The National Honors Society is based off of four pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Character and Service. These are all characteristics a member of the National Honor Society should exhibit. I believe that I possess all of these characteristics and should be given the chance of becoming a NHS member. This has also been a goal of mine since freshman year and would mean a lot to me to be apart of such a prestigious organization.
I would be an excellent choice to be a member of the National Junior Honor Society because I show service, leadership, character, and citizenship. It is an amazing opportunity anyone is lucky to have, and I am more than happy to accept it. I love helping people, being able to feel accomplished knowing I put a smile on someone’s face. Being in the National Junior Honor Society, I’d love to share my ideas and thoughts on how to make the world a better place.
National Honors Society is an extremely prestigious and well-known group that gave me the opportunity to assist the community while working harmoniously with my peers. To get into NHS, there are four pillars one must fulfill, including, scholar, service, leadership, and character. One may not realize it, but these qualities apply all throughout life. In order to be successful, one must achieve some form of each pillar. Being dedicated and committed to learning and improving but also using the knowledge one previously has is to be a scholar. Giving back to one’s community by making improvements or donations or simply just being courteous to one’s neighbor is to give one’s service. Taking the initiative to solve problems and guide others towards
The National Honor Society is a very prestigious organization that I would love to be a part of. It was an honor to be nominated as a candidate. I am currently a sophomore in high school, and I have always wanted to be a member of the National Honor Society. As I look back over the years and think of the times I have attended the ceremonies and saw all the awards the members received, I recall saying to myself “That’s going to be me one day.”. I asked my teachers about all the requirements that had to be met to be a National Honor Society member and I made it my main goal to meet each and every one.
To be in the National Junior Honor Society, one must have good citizenship and character. I seek to be a part of this society because it is a great honor and shows not only to others, but also to myself, how hard I have worked throughout my years at Northvale Public School. I take part in school activities and have helped my teachers, so that my classmates and myself can have a better learning experience. During Brain Busters meets, there are times that I am in charge of the group I am in and although it is a lot of responsibility, I know that my team depends on me to help them.
If I become a member of NHS, I want to be more involved with people and groups. I want to strive for the best grades. I also want to be more involved with our community here in Sedalia and neighboring
I believe I have demonstrated the qualities to be a member of the National Honor Society because I want to be able to show people that I am a good citizen, leader and that I have a good judge of character. I am in key club because I have always liked to help around the community, but never got too many chances, with key club I get a lot of opportunities and I love it. I have also worked at the Hocking Hills Diner for the past two years. While working, I do not only run the cash register and seat people but I also make sure things run smoothly. I make sure my servers are doing what they need to and that all the customers are happy. If something is wrong, it is my job to fix it. Being a leader has taught me how to work as a team and make things
“Leadership, dreams, scholarships, service, pride and character”, the first words that come to mind when I hear “National Honor Society”. Being chosen for National Honor Society is a great honor, as it has proved that from my childhood till now my hard work has paid off. From the beginning of high school, as a freshman to now a junior, I have always pushed myself to do better, but not better than others, better than myself. I had competition with myself and my past grades, as I emboldened myself to do better than each of my past marking period grades. I heartened myself to get stronger grades, because since the day I found out in freshman year that there was National Honor Society I was determined to get in. The day of my sister’s graduation
