Recommended: Why is summer the best season

Different seasons appeal to people for a variety of reasons. While some people enjoy the winter and its holiday cheer, others prefer the spring when the hills are green and the world is seemingly reborn. Each season has its benefits, but I, myself, prefer the summer because I don’t have to go to school, and I truly enjoy the weather. (TS) For me, summer is the best time of the year because I get to take a break from school. (CD) This is important because I get to catch up on my sleep. (CM) During the school year, I have to wake up far too early in the morning, which causes me to feel sleepy all day long. (CM) In the summer, I can sleep in as late as I want to, so I feel awake and energetic because I’ve had enough rest. (CD) Furthermore, having time off from school means that I can do whatever I want. (CM) Rather than doing homework, I get to spend time on hobbies that I enjoy, like playing the guitar and skateboarding. …show more content…

(CD) Some people might say that summer is too hot, but no for me: I enjoy being able to go outdoors whenever I want. (CM) Rather than being stuck in the house on a rainy day, summertime means I have the freedom to be outside where I can ride my bike, go down to the skate park, or even just walk to the store. (CM) The weather also allows families like mine the opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities like going camping in Yosemite or driving to the beach in Santa Cruz. (CD) Furthermore, summertime weather allows me to wear more clothes that I like. (CM) I hate having to bundle up in extra clothes where I’m constantly having to take off a jacket and then put it back on again depending on whether I’m indoors or outdoors. (CM) When it’s summer, I can simply throw on a t-shirt and some shorts, and I’m instantly comfortable and ready to go.
