Are Video games To Violent? Do you ever feel like Video games can get out of hand? Violent video games can cause violent shooting and violent video games can cause violent shooting in real life. We should not play Video games that have shootings because it's going to affect kids for violence. The article stated that ¨Itś possible that someone who buys and plays the game will later go on to carry out a horrible shooting¨(Klain 1). This supports violence in shooting because not only are video games fun they can cause violence and kids might think it might be fun to do real life shooting. The article stated that "But overall, violent crime is down in the US---indeed,as video games have become more popular, violent crime has fallen" (Klain 1). This evidence supports my reasoning because I decided that even though video games are fun to play, but it can also threaten to use form upon a victim with shooting or other crimes. Violence is not a good thing to do it's affecting young kids lifes. Video games can cause shootings but even watching movies can cause shootings. "The Aurora shooter had an obsession with The Joker from The Dark Knight film. Would he have carried out his crimes without that film?(Klain 1). This is true here because the person that liked the movie decided that oh it's okay to shoot up a movie theatre because of a Batman movie that they like and that's not right. Another reason we should not play video games because it makes kids/teenagers minds think of bad things and their minds are being formed to think of bad things. "If it were as simple as saying "violent video games kill people!" then we'd really be in trouble. It's a silly fallacy, of course" (Klain 1).
