Today’s world is mainly relied on technology such as computers and smartphones and has been a great contribution to make people lives easier in the sense of communication, activities, and time consuming. Technology has also increased the ability for students to make cheating easier for them to display good grades on tests or homework. Furthermore, from the past generation to this generation cheating has increased dramatically up to sixty-four percent according to David Crary article. Moreover, cheating is getting worse and as a society everyone needs to play a role to be able to stop cheating from happening because it is not doing anyone any good.
In today’s world cheating can cause multiple problems on a student’s education because of the inquiry of not learning a material significant to which is being taught. Students find it easy to be able to cheat on an exam or on homework and be content in passing without learning the information. Cheating can cause multiple problems for students because of the individual understanding of material; which challenges their brains to greatly improve critical thinking skills and learn the material. Therefore, Competition increasing causes students to prevail more on becoming better than any student which is benefiting themselves and classmates because of the hard work and time that is being put into learning that specific material. Moreover, while with cheating students are not benefiting themselves; critical thinking skills are not developing which is causing no benefit at all for those
