Wouldn’t you agree that parents want to protect their children the best they can from harmful and possible even fatal diseases and illness? Therefore it is important that every single person should have vaccinations each year to prevent the spread of germs and in certain cases illnesses and diseases to people. Why are vaccines so important? One reason is the fact that parents want to protect their kids. Flu virus, whooping cough, even mumps are very contagious illness that rapidly spread, and so making sure kids are vaccinated can help to protect them from these vaccination-preventable diseases. Second, how many times do we hear the phrase, “Something’s going around”? Yes, now a days, it seems that if one person has a virus, EVERYONE has it. Outbreaks can be prevented however if people are properly vaccinated. Lastly, all of us, each and every one of us has a commitment. We all have a commitment to public health to children and adults, by having vaccinations to prevent preventable-diseases and viruses we all pitch in in that commitment and goal. …show more content…

The flu, a common cold, whooping cough, or in certain cases bronchitis or pneumonia. This is commonly because parents commonly find little need in getting vaccinations or believe that it barely does anything to prevent diseases, infections and viruses. However, it’s been proven multiple times that vaccinations not only prevent kids from getting a virus but also prevent the spread of it throughout and help others who may have an infection or virus slightly, to fight it off quicker, and more productively.
