Literature is a area the Greeks made the biggest contribution. One evidence is the Alphabet. The Alphabet is something that is still going on today. This started when the Greeks started the alphabet. A second evidence for Literature is poetry. Poetry is something the Greeks also came up with. The Greeks would write some form of poetry. Homer was the first person that made an actual poet to the Greeks. Sappho was the first woman poet from greece. A third evidence for Literature is theaters. Theaters were used for Greeks plays. Theaters were also used for actors and for chorus. On either side of the theater There were parodos they were used for the audience to enter and exit the theater.
