Chlorissa Kaufenberg Intro to Wellness Wellness Autobiography I consider myself to be a healthy person, however that can always be improved. In my life I believe I have taken appropriate steps to maintaining a pretty healthy life in many ways. I don’t drink, smoke, or do drugs. I choose healthy foods over junk foods. I live in an environment that promotes good health. I do whatever I can to avoid stressful situations. Finally, I try to exercise as much as I can. I have never smoked, drank or done any drugs and I don’t plan to. These sort of things can be detrimental to your health and I can’t imagine putting something in my body that does nothing but hurt. Anytime I wanted a snack or even during dinner or lunch, I would always have more than a serving of either fruits, vegetables, or both. My mother and father always encouraged this and that’s why it became so normal that even today they are a big part of my diet. Over the years I’ve developed several allergies to different kinds of fruits and vegetables so I’ve had to modify what kinds of fruit/vegetables I can eat and cannot. Nevertheless, it hasn’t stopped me from eating healthy. The common theme so far is that my parents have encouraged healthy habits from me. I’d say that I have great environmental wellness. They’ve encouraged me to eat healthy foods and avoid drugs and other things toxic to my health. Anytime I’ve been needing help with school or any other problems they’ve gladly helped me out.
