Most of them came true and all it took was some hard work. If you have seen what Walt Disney has done you know how great his life was. Although Walt Disney started many businesses, many failed, but Disney continued to persevere reaching eventual success, Walt Disney Studios and theme parks.
Walt Disney was born December 5, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois. His father was Elias Disney, born on February 6, 1859 in Bluevale, Ontario. His mother was Flora Call Disney, born on April 22, 1968. He has three brothers, Herbert, Raymond and Roy Oliver Disney. Disney also has one sister, Ruth Flora Disney. Walt Disney graduated from Benton High School. This was not the only High School he had gone to. He had also attended McKinley High School. Walt Disney never attended a college or University. After High School he joined the American Ambulance Corps, in France. To do so he had to lie about his age.

Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5th, 1901 in Hermosa, Illinois. Together, he and his brother would come to cofound Walt Disney Productions. Disney grew up in Marceline, Missouri with his mother, father, three brothers, and one sister. In 1911, they moved to Kansas City. Due to his Uncle Mike Martin’s career as a train engineer, Disney developed his love of trains. In 1917, the Disney family moved to Chicago where Disney attended McKinley high School. He took drawing and photography classes as well as drew for the school newspaper. He also took classes at the Chicago Art institute. At the young age of sixteen, he dropped out of school. He originally wanted to join the army but, after being rejected for being underage, instead joined the Red Cross. He was sent to France and to drive an ambulance there for one year.

Following World War II Disney Production was in a substantial amount of debt. They needed to come out with a new movie that would win over the public of America. They came out with just the right movie, Cinderella, in 1950. This was their biggest hit since Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs some 15 years ago. Because of Cinderella Disney Productions stayed in business and could go on to produce many more heartwarming movies.
