Helping animals and taking care of their daily activities is fun, especially when they are super excited and happy to play. The job that this happens in is in veterinary technicians, who help veterinarians with their daily duties. Playing with the animals and helping with their exams and daily activities would be the best part of the day. It could be very interesting for most people because if they love animals, and helping animals get better, without actually performing surgery on the animal this would be a great job for them. Some of the education/degrees that are needed for this job include, “you have to have a associates degree, high school diploma or equivalent and postsecondary certificate.” (Summary Report for Veterinary Technician) This is a big deal to know about in order to know how to become a veterinary with specific education. There are certain skills that are also needed to become a veterinary technician such as, “you have to be ready for active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, speaking and monitoring.” (Summary Report for Veterinary Technician) This would be really important to know for the people that don’t have these skills and need to know to be able to do them for this job. Then, there are the classes that needed to be focused on, you need to focus on English language, Biology, and Mathematics for a veterinary technician. “ A typical annual salary is between $26,870 and $38,950.” (Career One Stop) Most people would like knowing what they are going to get in the future so they know when to start saving up their money for their retirement, or other daily things like buying a house, buying a car, or even paying off college debt that you have left to pay. Next, you have to worry about what is going to happen in the future with anybody's job, like if they are going to be fired and taken over by some new invention that can do their job. On Bureau of Labor Statistics it states, “ Employment of veterinary technologists and technicians are protected to grow 20 percent from 2016 to 2026, much faster than the average for all occupations.” If people are planning on going for this job they have a better chance of staying there than any other occupation, and not getting taken over new technology. The other type of money earned that people are worried about is the starting salary. The starting salary is about $31,000 for a veterinary technician.
