What is the Relationship between Race and Youth Unemployment in Australia? I will focus on the research question because race is rooted within the Australian community. The racial-ethnic distinctions are the major issues that characterize employment in Australia. Most of the people living in the country do not have Australian nationality, meaning that they may experience unequal distribution of work. It is definite that race matters during recruitment and employment of indigenous people and is not well represented. Being black or white is a consideration factor while recruiting the young people. Answering the question will determine the number of teenagers who face discrimination in employment because they speak a language other than English. The basis of the question is the contributing factors to youth unemployment in the country. I will use online reflective journals to collect data such as the number of languages mostly spoken by the indigenous students, teenagers and the newly employed people. Again, the ratios of the whites in employment will be collected to help determine the level of job discrimination in the country. The journals will provide an overview on how the ratios have decreased or risen over time. Analysis of the results will then be feasible suggesting if racism is a problem that entertains more unemployed youths. …show more content…
