Twilight Interpersonal Communication Movie Review
Regarding the story of characters and interpersonal communication attributes movies; especially those with a strong theme of love have become a mainstream culture and a household commodity for analysis. The movie twilight was recently adapted from being a novel to a film in the year 2005 under the same title with the original idea from Stephanie Meyer. Through the 17 year old girl’s narration, the movie espouses a love story about a forbidden love (Blasingame et al. 50). The forbidden love is between the two protagonists, Edward and Bella, where their relationship depicts varied interpersonal characteristics. Through their interactions, the two protagonists develop among each other both positive and negative connotations of interpersonal communication.
Just like in any relationship, the concept of trust is an effectual factor in starting and developing a healthy and romantic relationship. In the movie, when Edward and Bella had a biological class together this aspect drew the two together, and the trust factor emerged at the first sight. The scent of Bella had an intense influence on Edward, for he is a vampire in nature. Moreover, it seemed as if Bella was the one Edward was waiting for a long time. Edward left school for a few days because the scent of Bella was too strong for him, and upon his return to school, he avoided stating the truth of why he was away from school. Edward stated, “He had to get out of the town for personal reasons and just in few days” (Blasingame et al. 57).

...ks Bella concerning her move with her father whether it has made her unhappy, she responds by changing the topic since she was getting uncomfortable and Edward’s eye had changed color due to the growing impatient. The eye contact made between the two made them to change the topic for varied reasons. The language between them and the nonverbal communication made the conversation between the two competent. They were attentive, had genuine interest, and asked honest questions and received honest answers. The communication strategies, which is characterized by nonverbal communication helps to draw the two protagonists together. The conversation scene in the movie is the best example of how relationship conversations begin and develop.

When thinking about romantic relationships, whether in the movies, media or your own relationship what characteristics come to mind? The topic we will discuss in this presentation attends to the romantic relationships within interpersonal communication.
With a society that frequently emphasizes love and relationships, the movie When Harry Met Sally follows a theme of finding that individual that person is willing to spend their time together for life. The film story is about two new graduates, Harry and Sally, and their journey to finding themselves through relationships, friendships and the encounters with each other 's overs the years. Harry and Sally explored their contrasting perspectives in which each gender hold regarding relationships. Throughout the film, When Harry Met Sally, it exemplified relationship development theories, models, and the maintenance of a relationship. All which demonstrates the interpersonal communication used in the film.
The movie Crash examines the interpersonal communications that exists between different groups’ of people. In this film, characters are highlighted by the contact that occurs when disparate people are thrown together in large urban settings. Crash displays extreme instances of racism and shows how the thought, feeling, and behavior of individuals are influenced by actual, imagined, or implied presence of other human beings. My analysis will focus on Social Cognition and how people process, and apply information about other people and social situations.
As can be seen, the Bella’s have many roles. For example, Aubrey has task/individual, Chloe has maintenance, Beca has individual/task and maintenance, Fat Amy has task/maintenance and individual, Stacie has Individual/Task, Cynthia Rose has Task, and Lilly has Task. Also, Aubrey shows legitimate power because her seniority influences every Bella. Beca earns referent power. Amid, a key nonverbal communication is eye contact.

Blue meth? This is what the TV series Breaking Bad is shaped around. First, I will be discussing why I chose Breaking Bad to analyze. Secondly, I will discuss the topic of communicating verbally with Walter and Jesse. Thirdly, I will see how they managed conflict and power. Fourthly, I will look at Walter White's relationship with his friends. Fifthly, I will see how listing actively played a role in Breaking Bad. Next, I will dissect Walter and Jesse's relationship in the workplace. Lastly, I will see what this means for communication as a whole.
However, the vampire Irina misidentifies Renesmee as an "immortal child", a child who has been turned into a vampire. Because "immortal children" are uncontrollable, creating them has been outlawed by the Volturi. After Irina presents her allegations to the Volturi, they plan to destroy Renesmee and the Cullens. In an attempt to survive, the Cullens gather other vampire clans from around the world to stand as witnesses and prove to the Volturi that Renesmee is not an immortal child. Edward telepathically connects with Jacob and his Quileute pack, with the full realization of Jacob's imprint with Renesmee forging a new family connection of an unbreakable bond and mutual pact of protection between the Cullens and the Quileute, ending hatred between the races. As local and foreign vampires arrive, the Cullen house becomes the headquarters and training ground for the assorted vampires and the Quileute wolf packs. Information pieced together from the many visitors reveals the Volturi's ulterior motives for power through the acquisition of vampires with special abilities, turning the gathered vampire witnesses into self-aware rebels intent on defending their freedoms. Interpersonal communication is everywhere in society, both in the past, present, and the future. “Marty,” a love story, and a movie made in the fifties, shows many examples of interpersonal communication. In this movie, the main character, Marty, is a decent, socially awkward man who is pressured by his peers and family to find love and get married. He then gets fed up and goes to a club in town and meets a woman named Claire, who is in similar circumstances to him. Marty and Claire then interact and spend time together and Marty experiences companionship for the first time.
Jealousy is an emotion that many would experience in their lifetime. The trigger for the emotion jealousy differs for everyone but no doubt that people would experience this emotion a handful of times in their life. Many if not most people would develop jealousy during their time in a relationship regardless of the length of the relationship. Some researchers like Attridge (2013) consider jealousy a positive behavior because of the fear of losing one’s partner could mean the transition of one love style to another with an increase in one of the components. The Notebook (Cassavetes, 2004) is a love story about a young couple named Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun, who fall deeply in love with each other. The Hamilton’s are financially stable, and expect for their daughter Allie to marry someone with the same wealth. Noah on the other hand works as a laborer, and comes from an underprivileged family. Throughout the film there were several negative behaviors, and interpersonal communications within the context of their relationship, which relates to chapter nine. This chapter explores relationships, emphasizing on affection and understanding, attraction, and the power of a relationship. The focus of this paper is the interpersonal conflict with Noah, Allie and her mother, Anne Hamilton.
The film, The Breakfast Club, is an impressive work of art, addressing almost every aspect of interpersonal communication. This is easily seen here, as I’ve gone through and shown how all these principles of interpersonal communication apply to real-life, using only two short interpersonal interactions from the movie. I’ve explained aspects of interpersonal communication, nonverbal communication, verbal misunderstandings, communication styles, gender issues, and self-disclosures. With that said, I believe I have demonstrated my ability to apply principles of interpersonal communication with simulated real-life examples.

The movie Bridesmaids has been my favorite movie since the first time I viewed it, with just the perfect amount of humor and real-life difficulties to satisfy. After I started learning about interpersonal communication I realized how many of my personal relationships use the concepts we have discussed as well as how I have used the concepts while becoming who I am now.
In both these Vampire inspired movie and television show there is one common area. LOVE. The difference between Elena/Stefan and Edward/Bella’s romance is Elena, and Stefan are doppelgangers. They are a shadow self “a person who happens to be a supernatural double of a person that has lived before them” (The Vampire Diaries Wiki). This is a spell that bounds people that look identical to Stefan and Elena to be infatuated with one another. Unfortunately this is not “true love” as some people may say. Elena and Stefan feelings and attraction towards each other is not real. Under the Doppelganger spell Elena and Stefan believe they are each other’s match, but it is just the lie the spell cast upon them.
