There is a substantial list of scheduled tribes in India recognised as tribal under the Constitution of India (Baa, 2013). In India, the tribal people constitute 8.6 percent of the total population, according to the 2011 census. In India, tribes are defined in reference to the cultural practices of certain groups in relation to the mainstream Hindu cultural practices (Beniwal, 2015).
India is marked by its rich traditional heritage of tribal arts and culture. Since the days of remote past, the diversified art and cultural forms generated by the tribal and rural people of India have continued to evince their creative magnificence. In present scenario the most important thing in fashion is the idea of global fashion market. The present study will be helpful for the fashion industry in this context because ongoing craze that doesn't show signs of stopping is ethnic tribal fashion.
