INTRODUCTION
Traveling in the Amazon is the dream of millions of people from around the world, and the book you hold in your hands will help you accomplish the easier, happier and more affordable trip than you had taken in your life.
Obviously, there are still many people when referring to the Amazons; they immediately relate it with nightmares and wild adventure full of adrenaline with piranhas, anacondas and other species unknown to us. However, modern advances on technology have brought the Amazons closer to you, and the days connecting the Amazons trips to horror movies were left behind.
Today and right now, you can conveniently catch a flight from anywhere in the world and spend a couple of days in the Amazon rainforest. As well, you would make a longer journey, as I did, from the beginning of the river in Peru through Colombia until the end of the river in the beautiful beaches of Brazil in the Atlantic Ocean. Throughout this journey, you will discover that the Amazon is full of brilliance and moments of magic that always make you feel very grateful for having given yourself the opportunity to enjoy this natural wonder. Consequently, I wrote this book to show you how to travel comfortably and happily while you make the most memorable trip of your lifetime.
Today the Amazon is available to all, and I promise that if you follow the recommendations in this book, you will be able to observe anacondas, piranhas and other species of great uniqueness that will make your trip an unforgettable experience that you will remember until the last days of your life.

...rtain seasons, usually around January-February you will find the most passionate surfers, riding the “Pororoca.” It is a wave of up to 5 meters high, ranging up to 700 miles inland upstream. Moreover, here, there is another world record breaking related to the Amazon, when Mr. Picuruta, a surfer from Brazil, rode the wave for more than 37 minutes, covering a distance of more than 7.8 mi in the presence of an official Guinness judge.
15. Did you say golf? Yes, you too can play golf in the Amazon, at the only club that will deliver a machete when you start your round of golf. This field is a difficult adventure of nine par 5s, and as you can imagine, in this field, birdies and eagles are not as important as the care of snakes hiding off the fairways, the alligators in the bunkers, or the piranhas lurking in the wells ... and please try to avoid the anacondas.

The people are friendly and charming; they would be happy to help one find their way if they need help. But, the main reason Peru appears on the top ten list is because of its unique geographical features. Some examples are the Andes Mountains, Machu Picchu and Cusco. The art and culture of the Peruvians, as well as the people themselves,and the popular places to go, are what tourists like to see in Peru.
The long and dangerous journey halfway across the continent was definitely not for the faint of heart. After reviewing both accounts, the general impressions were that of hardship, perseverance, and a will to survive. All for the hopes of a better and more successful life that the new lands promised. There are many rainforests in the world but one of the biggest one is the Amazon rainforest, which is located in the northern half of South America and lies in the countries of Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Bolivia. The Amazon also lies in between the Tropic of Capricorn and the Tropic of Cancer. The size of the Amazon resembles the size of the United States from the Atlantic Ocean to the Rocky Mountains. Since this rain forest lies next to the Equator, the climate is warm and humid. The average temperature is in between sixty-eight to ninety- three degrees. The Amazon has two seasons but each one is six months each. They are classified as the wet season and the dry season. The wet season occurs between December to May and the dry season occurs between June to November. The average rainfall is fifty to two hundred and sixty inches per year. The forest floor only gets up to two to five percent of sunlight since the canopy blocks the sunlight from getting to the forest floor. The Amazon rain forest got the nickname, the world’s pharmacy, because many medicines have been found in the tree bark, the tree’s leaves, and other parts of the trees.

All for a dangerous journey to get to a foreign place, having a fear that you might not have a chance of making it. Many people endure this expedition like Enrique in search for a better life. Sonia Nazario has done an outstanding job with Enrique’s Journey, making you feel as though you are on this journey with Enrique, making this trek from Honduras to the U.S. I find it to be a rare occasion if I can make it through the first page of a nonfiction book without waking up an hour later and finding it on the floor. The rainforest is rained on constantly and experiences very warm temperatures, allowing for a profusion of animals and plants. The energy that is received is from the sun, converted to chemical energy by plants through photosynthesis. The process of photosynthesis is a source of food for consumers and produces oxygen for organisms. Producers of the Amazon would be plants, flowers, fruits, leaves, plankton, insects, larvae, and spiders. For example, A lot of water is released from the leaves of canopy trees during transpiration which explains the rainfall. The seeds and leaves feed many species of consumers. The trees are extremely tall and trap about 80% of sunlight. Many plants and animals live in or on the marsh grass surface because its roots and stalks protect them.

Amazon: This is one of the most famous tropical rainforest in the world. Currently, it is the largest tropical rainforest in the world. The forest covers the basin of amazon, the world’s second longest river. The Amazon is home to many animals and even some of the plants greats. This rainforest has a great variety of plants and animals. 1/5 of the world’s plants and 1/10 of all mammal species are found there.

The Amazon Rainforest is the world's largest tropical rainforest that we have today on our planet. It covers a wide range expanding almost entirely across from East to West of South America. It is most famous for its broad biodiversity and includes the famous Amazon River that is home to rare and diverse species. Today, the Amazon Rainforest is under threat of complete deforestation and has greatly lost more than half of its tropical rainforest due to cattle ranching, soy bean farming, sugar cane plantations, palm oil and biofuel agriculture. The indigenous people are doing their best to fight against the government to protect their land and conserve the rainforest but without capital finance, it is seeming to be an impossible project.
This report will discuss the effects of deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest on the people and Environment and suggest possible solutions for deforestation. The Amazon Rainforest located near Brazil is being cut down at a rate of roughly 10,000km every year according to Source 1. Deforestation is affecting the entire planet.
