A persuasive thesis statement on Gun control is a major issue not for only Americans who do or don't own a firearm but also American Citizen who are residents in a different country as well, Even though Gun owners are in denial that their is a problem , It's affecting the way society view the government because The United States is the only country that has this problem and Many Americans are losing their lives to guns.
According to data gathered from many news outlets. Statistics show that there has been over 350 mass shooting in the United States alone and an estimate of 14,000 people who were killed by firearms in the past year. These incidents have opened the door for many citizens to question if having the rights to possess a firearm is a privilege that Americans are not yet ready to handle. Like In California, all Gun sales, exchanges, private transactions and sales at firearm events, have to be passed through a California licensed firearms seller. California has no provision in the state’s constitution that guarantees an individual's right to keep and bear arms. Whereas others states lack strictness on gun laws. Like Louisiana which does not require background checks for a transfer of a firearm between unlicensed parties. They don't regulate assault weapons, they do not require gun owners to have a license or register their firearms and lastly do not allow local governments to regulate firearms. Which for some people they prefer a relaxed gun law.
