The Wild Party. We chose this play not only because of its comedic erotica, but for the storyline of one young woman named Queenie going between two men trying to find herself. Viewing the musical at first you would think it was an erotic orgy the entire time, yet an emotional rollercoaster for queenie. Something big that attracted our group to this musical was how wildly dressed the characters were. For example, most of the time queenie was in her underwear or another lead character named Burr was dress as a dirty clown for most of the musical performance. It gives a insight into a woman who is not only trying to fill her desires, but to try and find that one person who she truly loves.
Filled with controlling obsession from Burr towards queenie, who found love in Mr.Black.
So to get to the point, the musical is basically a rollercoaster of love, death, jealousy, lust, and emptiness. Which is always great to see because it's so wild. In the roaring 1920's and the beautiful, young Queenie, although she tries, cannot find a lover able to satisfy her desires . until she meets Burrs, a man with a high sex drive for women .The new couple enjoy living together for awhile, until Burrs …show more content…

Although she's angry that she has confided in Black, a virtual stranger, she recognizes his goodness. This puts Queenie in a deep confusion with her feeling to both men. While attempting to analyze her feelings Black enters with a drink, explaining to her how much he admires her. Burr entering the the room, breaking down of how deep his love runs for her. Both men tugging on her, forcing her to make a decision which she can not respond to either men. Burr, threatening Queenie with physical abuse, promotes her to storming out the bathroom accompanies by Black. While in his hallucinogenic trance he mistakens Mae for Queenie and begins to attacking her. Enraging Eddie, both men begin to fight, lead by the victory of
