Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a show where there is much to expect. From monsters to high school problems and witchcraft, Buffy is a well known and well written show that hit #3 in TV Guide’s list of the “25 Top Cult Shows Ever!”. Buffy is well known for its problems that the group faces throughout the series as it also relates to the real world. There are many problems with students trying to speak what they want to say. Episode “Hush” symbolically represents the problems teens and adults go through with their communication towards each other. Riley and Buffy’s communication is hard for them to talk to each other. During the scene where they try to talk to each other, they feel awkward and have no idea what to say after the attempt to kiss each other, so they continue to their class. They like each other but it is hard for them to say something to each other. The communication between Riley and Buffy shows that teens and adults have it hard to talk to each other when there are feelings between them, illustrating that the episode “Hush” represents how teens and adults struggle when talking to each other. …show more content…
