Some strengths that would be good to apply in a business context would include teamwork, fairness, honesty, curiosity, and perseverance. Teamwork is an important aspect of business, since you are always working with someone. For instance, you could be working with an employer, an employee, or a customer. In each of these cases you must be willing to work with the other person to receive an outcome that is desired by both people. Without teamwork, no businesses would be able to work effectively or efficiently. When having to do teamwork within a business you must be able to set aside all differences that are not relevant, such as you do not like that person’s hair color, or they bought someone a coffee one day and not you, or anything that does not …show more content…

For example, top management notices that every month overall they are missing a certain amount of money. It may not be an overly large amount, but it is still enough for them to notice. Instead of just saying it’s not much money so we will just look past it the top management begins to conduct a research to discover where this little bit of money is disappearing too. They end up discovering that an employee was stealing so much money every month and keeping it for themselves. It is good to be curious in business so that you will catch onto little situations like this and have to investigate them because you are curious to know where that little bit of money is going. Perseverance is a key factor in the business context. Without perseverance, no business would have overcome large difficulties or even small daily challenges! Nothing is easy in the business world, nothing will be handed to you, instead each person must work and push themselves to overcome whatever the issue may be. I believe that these five-teamwork, fairness, honesty, curiosity, and perseverance- are great strengths for any individual to have and are even better if they apply them in a business
