This states that america is getting more and more domesticated to attack other people and engage in more conflict then ever before. When I was growing up I was told that in order to solve a problem that another student had with me the only logic way would be to fight the person. My family members as well as friends would say that if you let anyone step over you that you were a cowards and that confronting the person would be the best thing for someone to succeed. This passage also states that we are desensitized to the pain and suffering of others. This goes true in society today when we see bullying and how it goes on in the world. At Utah State University, there has been flyers found all over campus that stated “Shut the fuck up about muslim rights and gay rights”. This is something that bothered my heart to the extreme. People are happy about someone who wouldn't want other people to have the rights and opportunities to succeed in the world because of the way that someone practices religion as well as the way that people look on the outside is something that sadness my soul. We are in the year 2016 and someone won the president election with a slogan of “Make America Great Again” was just a sign to me of how much farther we have to go in this
