The tomb of the Red Queen is the remains of an unknown person, it is located in Chiapas, Mexico. It was discovered in the year of 1994, and during the discovery there is a redness of the skeleton, which is cause by the cinnabar. According to an article called The red Queen of Palenque, during the discovery of the Red Queen in a temple in Chiapas there was a discovery of two other skeletons that accompanied the Red Queen (2014). Based on the investigations on this particular site, they believed it was a young perish and a women remains. It is still a mystery why a young child and a women would be placed in the temple with the Red Queen. During the discovery of the remains of the Red Queen, there was not any traditional style of a burial. A traditional burial of a particular person was buried with precious stones and different types of jewelry, but in this cause it was a different situation. According to Heyworth, she was buried with a death mask that has pieces of precious stones, like malachite (2015). The Red Queen was also accompanied with other people in addition to the mask. According to Heyworth, the burial of the Queen was accompanied with the treasure of many precious stones, and as well being accompanied with a young boy and a women (2015).
