Euthanasia today can be described as a physician or others ‘killing’ of a suffering patient in attempt to accelerate death and relieve pain. In the game of life and death: life is the most obvious answer one would think. However, this is not always the case. Euthanasia or assisted suicide is an extremely controversial topic of today. It has the minds of society wondering if death solves some of the most extreme medical problems. If a patient finds himself or herself terminally ill and in excruciating pain, they should have the option to partake in assisted suicide to end their misery. Some insights support Euthanasia and some reject the concept. This issue is important to society because people want the right to end their lives when facing terminal, or life threatening, illnesses. In my opinion, certain forms of euthanasia should be considered legal.
Euthanasia, in a sense, has way more advantages than disadvantages. It can help a patient in numerous ways: one, just by stopping the anguish and cause an imminent death to come sooner saving lot of distress and agony. There are many diseases out there that can cause patients to die slow and painful deaths where euthanasia would seem fit as a solution. For instance, hematological malignancy can include symptoms such as fractured bones, recurring infections, and ongoing contusions. In reality, this patient would try in every possible way to fight the disease but once they hit a dead end, meeting death in a dignified manner would be the simple solution rather than to die in a hospital bed unrecognizable to even yourself. Once a patient is diagnosed with a terminal illness, life, as they know, it is hard to live. In many cases, euthanasia appears to be the more suitable answer.

By ending the life of the ill, you can no longer enjoy and spend time with the said loved one before their due time quickly approaches. The bottom line for these believers is that ending a life is playing the God role and even those who don’t believe in God believe nature must take its course.
In the end, death is a concrete option for those who are suffering and do not see living life as an option any longer. Many see euthanasia as inhumane and religiously erroneous, but we must view this decision from the eyes of the suffering patient. The rights we are given and promised should include the right to death, in the event that it will do more good than harm to the individual. Due to such reasons, euthanasia should be legalized and deemed one of the matters that the government does not have a hand in.
