Benjamin Bugsy Siegel a notorious and psychotic gangster who from the

womb to the tomb was always up to no good. Bugsy was a gangster early in his

childhood. Bugsy soon met some other gangster who where just as crazy as he was and

soon began to run bootleg alcohol in the streets of New York. During Benjamin Bugsy

Siegels' career in organized crime, he helped to take down two of the biggest dons that

the people of New York had ever seen. Bugsy was a handsome man who was always

weak when it came to women. While Bugsy was having an affair with Italian Countess

Dorothy DiFrasso, he plotted to assassinate Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. While on a

business trip to Hollywood Bugsy fell in love with both actress Virginia Hill, and with

the west coast. Which resulted in Bugsy moving permanently to Hollywood. Bugsy

saw paradise in Las Vegas. What was supposed to be a simple business deal, turned out

to be a legacy that can still be seen today. While in Vegas, Bugsy came up with an idea

to build a hotel and casino in the middle of the desert that he would call the flamingo.

The mob finances Bugsy and Okayed a one million dollar budget for the construction of

the flamingo. Bugsys' one million dollar budget later turned into a six million dollar

debt. At a conference in Havana, Cuba, members of the syndicate got together and

discussed the flamingo matter. The syndicate chiefs put it a vote, and with a unanimous

verdict, decided to assign a contract on Benjamin Bugsy Siegel. Many of Bugsys' loyal

friends were not ready to give up on him and convinced the syndicate to hold the contract

until after the flamingos opening day, which was the twenty-fifth of December. Bug...

...e opening of the flamingo casino, set for the day after Christmas. Meyer figured that if the opening was a success, then Bugsy could pay back the stolen money. Christmas came and went, and as Bugsy had promised, he opened the flamingos' casino for business. Opening night was a disaster at the flamingo so Bugsy was ordered to meet some guys at his mansion in Hollywood. Bugsy returned home on one condition, that nothing would be done to Virginia Hill. Bugsy flew home that same night after the flamingo had opened on Christmas day. Bugsy was at his Hollywood mansion when two hit men gunned him down from out side of his house. Nine bullets were shot into bugsys' house. Two .30 bullets caught Bugsy in the face. His left eye was later found sticking to the ceiling of his living room. Only two people attended bugsys' funeral: bugsys' brother and a rabbi.
