Achieving Dreams and Leading Your Life Recently I read The Last Lecture, a book I would not normally read. In this book, I learned about the life of Randy Pausch, who unfortunately had Pancreatic cancer. In his book, Pausch stated, “ It’s not about how to achieve your dreams. It’s about how to lead your life. If you lead your life the right way… the dreams will come to you.” To me, this statement means something. After reading this book, I can say I agree with this statement. I believe that working hard toward your dreams, then achieving them, will lead your life in the right way. He achieved so many of his dreams and lead his life in a such a magnificent way. To me his statement speaks the truth. To lead your life in the best way possible for you, is to pursue and achieve your dreams first. By doing this, you can lead your life doing what you love and living in the way you want. No one wants to live their life not pursuing something. Also, no one wants to live a life with a occupation they don't like. Everyone should live how they want to live, live their dreams. To do that, they have to be willing to go through the hardships of life, to fail before they can succeed. No one should have to conform and just settle with something that’s not in their full potential. If you want to do something, something that’s important to you, you have to work for it. Your dreams aren’t going to fall out of the sky and immediately come to you. I don’t think I can stress how much people should follow their own path. So many people probably have paths set out for them by parents, friends, teachers, etc. If that path is
