Aristotle stated, “The aim of wise is not to secure pleasure, but to avoid pain.” This means that all pleasure is lost when pain is introduced. Listen to him and be wise- don’t buy the harrowing phone, known as the iPhone X. The iPhone X should never be bought by consumers because, it’s has a sub par camera, a weak display, and a not-so-friendly user interface. The iPhone X has a so-called special camera, but despite it’s new design, it still can’t catch up to the competition, the Google Pixel 2. Well if someone buys the iPhone X, it’s not a dream for them anymore. In the tests done by the website Mac Rumors, the true durability of the iPhone X is revealed. As consumers can see by a picture from Mac Rumors, the results weren’t pretty. According to them,“After 50-100 tumbles, one iPhone X model suffered serious body damage, while two others had screen defects. The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus ended up with just a few scrapes after the test. “ As anyone can see, for three separate trials, the durability went down for the iphone 8. The most obvious weak spots are round the camera and the inner areas of the phone. The damage also extended out of the outer surface of the phone. If someone just spent $1000 on a phone that breaks so easily they don’t want to go for another one, but I have a solution. Don’t buy the phone in the first place and save your money. No, you hard-press and then release it, a change from the previous version, or swipe right.” The user friendly interface is history in the line of Apple products. Apple does not even believe that their phone is easy to use anymore, based on their videos and website articles such as, “Use Gestures to Navigate Your iPhone X”. Apple may have many new features, but how cool are they if 10 steps are needed to access them? One might say, “Maybe they just want to make it easier on people,” but think about it.
